The above are extracts from Yoona’s composition entitled “The Letter” which she wrote during her high school days. Click here to read her full composition. Read it and see how much it means to her when she writes or receives a letter. For her birthday this year, we will be doing an event: “A Little Love Letter For Yoona” which we hope will bring great joy to her. So please join us in this meaningful event. All you have to do is to write a letter to Yoona and we will deliver it to her as a birthday present.
-How to send in your letter-
- Your letter should be hand written in Korean or English.
- For overseas fans, please scan or take a photo of your completed letter. E-mail it to yoonyul@126.com and state the subject matter as “530 Event”. We will print a copy of the letter and send it to Yoona.
Note: Please ensure your photo is clear with a resolution of 1 mega pixel or above. For scanned copy, the DPI should be at least 120 and above. The ideal is 300 DPI.

moving to korea alone at the age of 15 wanting to pursue her dream of becoming a singer, despite her father being against it. without knowing anyone as well as the language, she comes to korea. the little girl that year has now become a member of one of the most (or should i just say the most) successful girl-groups in korea (asia tbh). overcoming all the hardships of being alone, overcoming all the hate and jealousy she gets, she’s achieved her dream of becoming a (successful) singer.
despite looking like a weak little girl, i think tiffany is one of the strongest person i’ve ever known of. lacking the love from her mother, having to live far away from the family since a young age; yet there’s always a smile on her face. i don’t just look up to her as a singer, as an idol, but also as a person, a person who always tries her hardest to improve her weaknesses, a person who doesn’t give up. - gs.
